Description
Vocal placement is the necessary technique for all categories of professionals and amateurs who have their voice as their main tool. The human voice is an instrument that can be highly cultivated. Proper training is required to protect it from daily wear and tear and perhaps misuse. In the lesson of vocal placement the student is taught the whole physical and mental mechanism of the vocal process. She is informed about the biorhythm and the endurance of his voice, her cooperation with the rest of the body. They are clarified and analyzed theoretically and practically: the process of respiration (inhalation & exhalation), the interconnection and cooperation of the voice with hearing and finally the vocal and repertoire stylistics.
Duration of Classes
Individual course: 45 min per week
Μethodology
a. learning through oral lectures and practical exercises of the vocal process;
b. written notes on the instrument of voice and the technique of sound production;
c. vocal exercises adapted to a repertoire of traditiona/folk songs and specialized exercises for musicians who, in addition to singing, wish to play other musical instruments.
